When we think of beauty, it's hard not to think about superficial things such as looks, style of clothing and accessories, weight, etc. After all, we're only human, right? But what if those things didn't make or break a person's beauty at all? What if weight, or the color or your hair, had nothing to do with whether or not you were beautiful?
This evening, I have been pondering the meaning of what beauty really means to me. This is what I came-up with.
When I think about a persons beauty, I think about their smile? How big their smile is. How much passion their smile holds;
When I think about a persons beauty, I think about whether or not they are willing to give themselves in an effort to help others. To be there for others and their willingness to be a positive role model in the life of others.
When I think about a persons beauty, I think about their attitude and inner self. Are they optimists ?
When I think about a persons beauty, I think about how much love in their heart they have for others, for theme self and for life in general. What do they see as their greatest gift in life, their car or their beautiful and amazing relationships that they have with others?
When I think about a persons beauty, I see someone who sees beyond a persons outer appearance, and can see and connect to the persons inner soul.
When I think about a persons beauty, I see someone who doesn't judge others; who has genuine love for other human beings.
Anyhow, when I think about beautiful people, so many people come to mind. As I read through people's blogs today; people I've never even met before; I can still see an amazing amount of beauty within them, even though most of these people whose blogs I've been reading, don't yet see the beauty that lays with them. It makes me sad when I see a beautiful person who hasn't yet realized just how amazing and talented of a person they are. But in the meantime, I'll keep rooting these people on; loving them with all my heart and praying for them nightly with the hopes that they too, will evetually find love for themselves.
